Mind Tools

Today we were able to see several presentations of different mind tools. I liked seeing some students like the Microsoft Windows Logo and some of the Adobe programs. So many applications can be mind tools. I liked seeing why people chose what they did. Especially with Ashley's and Photoshop. I am a visual learner and how she applied the program to how she is a visual learner. I am a visual learner too. I need visuals most of the time to understand. I did learn some things from the article about how important it is that a mind tool assist the learner in learning and not teaching. Computers are not supposed to do everything for us. I hope that as I prepare more to teach students that I will be able to use more real mind tools and not just computer applications.
